Attach & Attune
I have been a clinician for over 8 years and have worked in variety of clinical settings. Most of my training is in trauma as I have found traumatic experiences to be at the root of many of our most impactful human experiences. I am highly relational in my approach and often use irreverence and humor to warmly challenge. I believe that therapy, much like life, involves equal parts laughter and tears. Spoiler Alert: you will inevitably hear me talk about attachment and attunement throughout our work together.
I spend my free time outdoors with my charming, stoic husband and busy dogs. I drink too much coffee, have too many plants in my house, and have more letter-writing supplies than I will use in a lifetime. When traveling somewhere new I will always go to the museum and when home I will always watch trashy reality tv. My favorite chore at home is cleaning the bathroom and my least favorite task is vacuuming. I have a strong opinion about the word "nice" and will rant about positive psychology if you get me started. Love Mr. Rogers and Dolly Parton.
